Engineers:

Marie LaPosta

Is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Drexel University from Troy, NY. She has worked in public transit and biomedical fields and hope to continue in socially beneficial fields.
 

Kathleen Rizzo
Is currently finishing up her Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. Kathleen's interests lie in the thermal and fluid science areas, as well as design and manufacturing.

 

RJ Bauer
Is a senior mechanical engineering student at Drexel University. His work experience includes the energy conversion and machinery silencing branches of the Naval Ship Service Engineering Station.

Bio-Mechanics Designer:



Phuong N. Diep-Lam
Is a senior biomedical engineering student atDrexel University, was born in a farmer’s family in Viet Nam. Phuong hopes to work in, biomedical or pharmaceutical field to apply her engineering skills to improve human life.

Graphic Designer:



Kathryn VenVertloh
Is a graphic design major with a minor in marketing in her last year at Drexel University. Primarily her focus is in print design, and she hopes to use her skills to help the greater good.

Dr. James Tangorra (website)
Is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. He received his Ph.D. from MIT and focuses his research on bio-mimetic robots.
 

Alex Moseson (website)
Is an interdisciplinary NSF Graduate Research Fellow focused on leveraging technology for sustainable development, and has led programs in five countries. His recent work at IIT Bombay developed affordable “green cements” for slum improvement.
